This is the last episode of our Setu Babakan/Kampung Betawi series. This episode was taken during our visit to Setu Babakan. In this video, you will meet some Lenggang Nyai dancers (see: Lenggang Nyai video episode) who had a practice before the performance.

Most scenes were taken on the same day. And, that’s how we started our Setu Babakan video series. On that day, we haven’t figured out what video(s) we want to make. Our plan was simple: take the video of Setu Babakan small lake. When we visited the area where Betawi performances usually performed, we knew that that was the right moment.
